چکیده
Background: Endometrioma is a complex gynecological disease with increasing global prevalence. Laparoscopic cystectomy remains to be the primary choice of modality. Several studies, however, have revealed that laparoscopic in endometriomas can cause ovarian damage and reduction reserve. They demonstrated decrease serum AMH levels endometrioma patients following cystectomyObjective: To identify difference between mean post-laparoscopic non-endometrioma cysts patientsMethods: A prospective cohort study 40 selected undergoing Kariadi General Hospital Semarang. were divided into 2 groups cysts. measured before after surgery both groupsResults: The age group 32.40 ± 6.26 30.6 3.69 years consecutively. most common unilateral diameter > 4 cm which dominated by subjects endometrial had lower levels, (9.47 + 5.26 ng/mL) (7.80 4.27 ng/mL). showed significant (p=0.004). In contrast, there was no delta (-1.63 4.12; p=0.685) (-1.74 2.37 ng/mL; p=0.685)Conclusion: Both but they did not show difference.

Ovarian reserve evaluation by anti-mullerian hormone in women undergoing laparoscopic cystectomy of endometrioma.
OBJECTIVE To study the serial changes of serum AMH to determine ovarian reserve recovery after laparoscopic cystectomy of endometrioma. MATERIAL AND METHOD Forty-three endometrioma patients who underwent laparoscopic cystectomy of endometrioma were tested for levels of serum AMH at preoperation, 1 week, and 3 months postoperation. RESULTS Median serum AMH was 2.11 ng/mL (range = 0.22 to 9.2...
متن کاملThe impact of endometrioma and laparoscopic cystectomy on serum anti-Müllerian hormone levels
BACKGROUND Serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) had been proposed as a marker of ovarian reserve. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of endometrioma and laparoscopic cystectomy on ovarian reserve as measured by serum AMH levels. METHODS A total of 1,642 patients were recruited in this retrospective analysis. Control group (group 1) included 1,323 infertility patients without endom...

PURPOSE To investigate whether preoperative serum anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) levels are lower in women with ovarian endometrioma and in women with mature cystic teratoma of the ovaries. MATERIALS AND METHODS In a tertiary university hospital, a retrospective case-control study was performed. Serum AMH levels between an advanced (stage III and IV) endometrioma group (n=102) and an age- and b...
